Our current research interests include name discrimination in local voting patterns, electoral forecasting, seasonal factors affecting electoral turnout, the re-emergence of two-party politics in English local government, mayoral voting and the supplementary vote system, the measurement of electoral bias, split-ticket voting in synchronous elections and the characteristics of and attitudes among local election candidates.
