An invaluable reference book for those interested in the ebb and flow of electoral fortunes across the United Kingdom. This unique and authoritative guide to 180 years of electoral history provides summary data for every election since 1832.

This is the eighth edition of a book first published in 1968 by the late F.W.S. Craig.

The latest edition, published in 2012, covers facts and figures on all forty-five general elections, seven European Parliament elections and hundreds of parliamentary by-elections. It also contains a considerable array of opinion polling data and summary results for local government elections and also those for the devolved institutions in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
